The drawings of fruits of 100 cultivars of Cucurbita, especially the 93 cultivars of Cucurbita pepo, present a fascinating exhibition of the forms that were in cultivation over two centuries ago. The fruits of C. pepo range from small gourds less than 10 cm long to pumpkins and squash over 50 cm long.
