O campo de aprendizados deste artigo situa-se nos arredores do Omo Ilê Agboulá, terreiro voltado ao culto dos Babá-Egún, ancestrais da comunidade afrodescendente de Alto Bela Vista, em Itaparica/BA. O propósito da escrita é realizar um exercício do pensamento, sobre e com a fotografia, em torno de uma epistemologia do visual, implicando visibilidades e invisibilidades, no campo das ciências humanas, em especial da antropologia da imagem, considerando a câmera como um objeto sensível em relação a outros agentes ativos, humanos e não-humanos e investigar conceitos analíticos capazes de descrever esse entrelaçamento, tanto no campo da pesquisa etnográfica quanto na reflexão teórica, conferindo diferentes concepções de temporalidades e indagando noções como representação, arquivo e memória.

The learning field of this article is located in the vicinity of Omo Ilê Agboulá, a place dedicated to the cult of Babá-Egún, ancestors of the Afro-descendant community of Alto Bela Vista, in Itaparica/BA. The aim of the paper is to reflect on and with photography, around an epistemology of the visual, implying visibilities and invisibilities, in the field of human sciences, particularly the anthropology of the image, considering the camera as a sensitive object in relation to other active agents, human and non-human; and to explore analytical concepts capable of describing this entanglement, both in the field of ethnographic research and in theoretical reflection, verifying different conceptions of temporalities and questioning notions such as representation, archive and memory.
