Bertolt Brecht a eu recours à tous les genres littéraires pour reprendre des mythes anciens, pour les réviser ou encore pour créer de nouveaux mythes susceptibles de saisir sa propre réalité et sa conception de la poésie. L’article s’intéresse en particulier à son œuvre lyrique écrite en exil, qui transcende le poème politico-social par la mythification et la révision des mythes, contribuant ainsi à créer un “mythe Brecht”.
