A number of contributions in this thematic dossier entitled “Children in Court. Historical Issues, Contemporary Perspectives,” were received in response to an earlier call for papers. Our initial intention was to observe how children were treated and what their status was when courts debated the implications of the discourse, guilt, or victim.
