Résumé
The publication of the three conferences given by Stuart Hall at Harvard in 1994 was necessary, three years after his death. As emphasized by Kobena Mercer in his introduction, they confirm the topicality of the theoretical propositions put forth by the author ever since the beginning of the 1960s, opening a new reflection field by making culture one of the approaches to theorising power relationships.
