Cet article présente le contexte d’élaboration de la nouvelle historiographie russe sur l’émigration anti-bolchévique et situe l’apport original d’Oleg Budnickij dans cette historiographie marquée par deux tendances dominantes, l’étude des vétérans de l’armée blanche et celle de la production culturelle de l’émigration. En approchant l’histoire de l’organisation diasporique à travers les personnalités issues du courant libéral qui l’ont conçue et au prisme des ressources de l’État russe à l’étranger qu’elles ont réparties, l’historien fournit un éclairage substantiel à la singularité de cette histoire.

This article presents the context of the development of the new Russian historiography on anti-Bolshevik emigration and situates Oleg Budnickij’s original contribution to this field, which is marked by two dominant trends: the study of veterans of the White Army and of the cultural production of emigration. By approaching the history of how the diaspora was arranged through the diasporic organization through the figures from the liberal movement who conceived it and through the prism of the resources of the Russian state abroad that they distributed, Budickij provides a substantial insight into this unique history.
