Le rappresentazioni degli italiani regionali: esperienze di formazione alla ricerca linguistica (2a parte)

Questa seconda parte dell’articolo pubblicato in ESP n. 47 riassume i risultati di un progetto di formazione alla ricerca linguistica intrapresa congiuntamente dall’Istituto di Lingua e letteratura italiana dell’Università di Berna e dal Dipartimento di Scienze Umane e Sociali dell’Università della Valle d’Aosta durante l’anno accademico 2019/2020. Accanto alla metodologia ed alle tecniche d’inchiesta elaborate allo scopo di far conoscere agli studenti un’esperienza di ricerca applicata in laboratorio, vengono presentati alcuni dati dello studio condotto parallelamente dai due siti. Il tema degli atteggiamenti e comportamenti di fronte agli italiani regionali è stato esplorato dall’équipe bernese, riferito a variabili come il luogo di residenza, il livello d’istruzione, il sesso e l’uso delle lingue in famiglia, mentre l’équipe aostana si è concentrata principalmente sulla capacità di situare correttamente le varietà di italiano secondo le età (10-19 anni), rispetto anche alla pronuncia dei non italofoni.

Cette seconde partie de l’article publié dans ESP n° 47, résume les résultats d’un projet de formation à la recherche linguistique, entreprise conjointement par l’Istituto di Lingua e letteratura italiana de l’Université de Berne et le Dipartimento di Scienze Umane e Sociali de l’Université de la Vallée d’Aoste, pendant l’année académique 2019-2020. À côté des méthodes et techniques d’enquête élaborées dans le but de faire connaître aux étudiants une expérience de recherche appliquée en laboratoire, quelques données de l’étude, menée parallèlement dans les deux sites, sont présentées. Le thème des attitudes et comportements face aux italiens régionaux a été exploré par l’équipe bernoise, rapporté aux variables telles que le lieu de résidence, le niveau d’instruction, le sexe et l’usage des langues en famille, tandis que l’équipe d’Aoste s’est concentrée principalement sur la capacité à situer les variétés d’italien correctement, selon l’âge (10-19 ans) et également par rapport à la prononciation des non-italophones.

This second part of the article published in ESP n°47 reports on the language research training program undertaken jointly by the Istituto di Lingua e letteratura italiana of Bern University and the Dipartimento di Scienze Umane e Sociali of the University of the Aosta Valley, during the 2019-2020 academic year. Next to the survey methods and techniques developed to allow students to experience working in applied research, we present data from the study carried out on both sites simultaneously. The theme of attitudes and behavior concerning regional forms of Italian was explored by the Bernese team in relation to variables such as speakers’ place of residence, educational attainment, sex, language use in the family, while the Aosta team’s observations were mainly linked to the evolution of the ability of young people (aged 10-19) to place the forms accurately, as well as in relation to their pronunciation by non-Italian speakers.

Der zweite Teil des Artikels, der in ESP 47 veröffentlicht wurde, fasst die Ergebnisse eines bilateralen Projekts zur Sprachforschung zusammen, das im akademischen Jahr 2019/2020 vom Institut für italienische Sprache und Literatur der Universität Bern und der Abteilung für Human– und Sozialwissenschaften der Universität Valle d’Aosta durchgeführt wurde. Neben Erhebungsmethoden und -techniken, anhand derer die Studierenden ihre Erfahrung in der angewandten Forschung vertieften, werden hier Ergebnisse der parallel durchgeführten Erhebungen vorgestellt. Das von der Berner Forschungsgruppe untersuchte Thema der Einstellung gegenüber regionalen Varietäten des Italienischen konzentrierte sich auf Variablen, wie das geographische Herkunftsgebiet, den Bildungsgrad, das Geschlecht und den intrafamiliären Sprachgebrauch der Sprecher. Das Forscherteam in Aosta hingegen konzentrierte sich auf die Fähigkeit der Sprecher, je nach Alter (10-19) Äußerungen der italienischen Varietäten zu verorten und auch die Aussprache von Nicht-Italophonen zu erkennen.
