L’articolo descrive la realizzazione di un progetto musicale che quattro studenti musicisti del primo anno della Scuola Superiore di Musica di Borgogna-Franca Contea hanno realizzato da gennaio a marzo 2019 nella classe UPE2A del gruppo scolastico Darcy-Mauchaussée a Digione. Questo progetto, elaborato in concertazione con l’insegnante, si iscrive in un progetto pedagogico più ampio di familiarizzazione con l’apprendimento della lingua, pur restando uno strumento di socializzazione. This article is an account of a musical project carried out by four music students with the UPE2A class of the Darcy-Mauchaussée primary school in Dijon from January to March 2019. “UPE2A” classes - unités pédagogiques pour élèves allophones arrivants - receive non-French speaking children of mixed ages, newly arrived in France, with an aim to integrate them in the school system within a year, each child in his-her own age group. Developed jointly with the teacher in charge of the UPE2A class, this project is fully consistent with the objective of language learning while facilitating social integration at the same time. Encouraging children’s creativity is an essential part of this project.
