Le paysage-fleuve, une chorographie environnementale

Il s’agira ici d’envisager des formats d’enquête photographique qui entendent épouser la singularité matérielle des cours d’eau, « histoire à l’état liquide », pour documenter et représenter le paysage soumis à des modifications anthropiques. Le concept de paysage-fleuve a ainsi pour enjeu de penser des formes environnementales hybrides, artificielles et sauvages à la fois, qui sont le produit singulier d’un entrelacement des temporalités de la nature et de l’histoire des humains.

This article examines photographic survey formats that seek to reflect the material singularity of watercourses, “history in a liquid state”, in order to document and represent the landscape subjected to anthropogenic modifications. The concept of riverscape would thus have the challenge of thinking hybrid environmental forms, artificial and wild at the same time, which are the singular product of an interlacing of the temporalities of nature and human history.
