La double approche marxiste et phénoménologique du problème de l’indication et de l’origine du sens proposée par Trần Đức Thảo est confrontée ici aux idées du linguiste et philosophe Hendrik Pos. S’inscrivant dans un cadre théorique à la fois similaire et distinct, la position de Pos souligne l’originalité et le potentiel conceptuel de l’approche de Thảo. Elle démontre aussi la diversité des rencontres historiques entre phénoménologie et marxisme, ainsi que leur rôle historique dans l’élaboration d’une phénoménologie du langage.

The double Marxist and phenomenological approach to the problem of indication and to the origin of meaning put forward by Trần Đức Thảo is confronted here with the ideas of the Dutch linguist and philosopher Hendrik Pos. Harking from a theoretical framework that is both similar and distinct, Pos’ position highlights the originality and conceptual potential of Thảo’s approach. It also demonstrates the diversity of the historical encounters of phenomenology and Marxism, as well as their role in the elaboration of a phenomenology of language.
