Dans El laberinto de la seducción (2005), Gioconda Belli aborde un personnage incarnant la répression exercée dans l’histoire à l’encontre des femmes : Jeanne de Castille. Bien que le discours de l’histoire soit toujours sujet à des subjectivités, avec Jeanne de Castille la construction discursive acquiert une importance majeure. Les contours du personnage évoluent avec les mentalités, l’actuel discours historiographique introduisant encore de nouvelles perspectives limitées toutefois par le fait que l’information concernant la reine intègre une stratégie de communication politique d’État. Belli confronte ainsi un personnage opaque et emblématique, nous examinerons dans une perspective narratologique comment l’auteure fait des silences de l’histoire un espace de liberté pour créer autour du personnage un imaginaire participant à conformer un contre-canon.

In El laberinto de la seducción (2005), Gioconda Belli approaches a character embodying the repression exercised in the history against the women: Jane of Castilla. Although the speech of the history is always liable to subjectivity, with Jane of Castilla the discursive construction acquires a major importance. The outline of the character evolve with the mentalities, the current historiographical speech still introducing new perspectives limits however by the fact that the information concerning the honorable queen a political communications strategy of State. Belli so confronts an opaque and symbolic character, we shall examine in a narratologic perspective how the author makes silences of the history a space of freedom to create around the character an imagination participate to shape a different canon.
