Scopo di questo articolo è l’analisi dell’insieme di oggetti miniaturizzati riproducenti vasellame, utensili casalinghi e mobilio scoperti nella tomba di Iulia Graphis a Brescello (Emilia Romagna, Italia). L’articolo propone dei confronti con altri gruppi simili ritrovati in area italica, in particolare il Larario di Pesaro, il gruppo dei crepundia di Terracina ; sono stati ugualmente analizzati altri gruppi di mobilio miniaturizzato di dimensioni minori e con contesti di ritrovamento più incerti. Nel corso degli anni, numerosi ricercatori si sono interessati alla questione, concordando nell’associare questi oggetti alla sfera ludica di bambini romani vissuti nel II secolo d. C. e in particolare alla tipologia di gioco cosiddetta dînette. L’obiettivo di questo articolo è quello di fornire una definizione di questo insieme di oggetti legata alla loro possibile destinazione d’uso, allo stato sociale e al genere dei loro possibili proprietari.
