This paper analyses the emergence of networks and associations as well as the importance of their development within tourism as a possible reaction to the challenges posed by the constant changes in the global markets. The recent development of information- and communication technologies has been unparalleled in the history of the tourism industry. This paper introduces the link between ICT and tourism – through the development of cross-border tourism regions – in the Carpathian Basin.

Cette étude analyse la formation et le développement des réseaux et des associations touristiques qui répondent aux défis du marché global. Les TIC occupent dans le Bassin-Carpathique, comme dans beaucoup d’endroits du monde, une place importante dans l’évolution du secteur touristique.
