This work, edited by Daniele Besomi, independent researcher in History of economic thought, has a fundamental merit. It provides an extremely detailed, exhaustive reconstruction of how—since the early 1800s—theories of economic crisis and the business cycle have been summarised in the main dictionaries and encyclopaedias.
