In the last few months the Italian government has enacted legislation introducing various labour-related measures. The Council of Ministers led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who won a majority in the general elections held on 25 September 2022, published Decree-Law no. 48 of 4 May 2023, with urgent measures for social inclusion and access to employment (the Labour Decree).
