When it comes to the presence of children in the city, certain images come quickly to mind, notably the photographs by Robert Doisneau or Willy Ronis, privileged witnesses of a Paris that is no doubt long gone, that of the 1950s, immortalizing happy children having fun in an empty lot or in the streets.
