Résumé
Lionello Sozzi, scholar of French literature of the xvi century, specialized in some research fields, such as the «dignitas hominis» theme. Sozzi uses this theme as a key through which interpret the Renaissance civilization as a whole. The present essay shows how Sozzi analysed the cultural origins of the theme, especially the link between the Bible-Christian tradition and the hermetic tradition.
