Sophie Guermès, « Poétique de Valsaintes: «l’inachevable», «l’inachevé» », Studi Francesi, ID : 10.4000/studifrancesi.52176
After recalling the importance of the Valsaintes abbey on the life and the poetry of Yves Bonnefoy, this article based on Bonnefoy’s correspondence especially with Boris de Schloezer and also with Gaëtan Picon and other friends, analyses the poetics of place which emerges from the letters now published where Bonnefoy relates his quotidian life and his works. According to my hypothesis, Valsaintes’ experience inspired to the poet two notions, “the Endless” and “the Unfinished”, which became more and more important in his poetry along the time.
