What is the significance of the imaginary house at Valsaintes in the work of Yves Bonnefoy? This dream of a house to be restored, and of the metamorphoses that take place there both in the architectural structure and at the heart of poetic subjectivity, is the focus of meaning in Dans le leurre du seuil. This study retraces its itinerary based on the lesson of the drafts: in this poem-summa, not only does the poet integrate a profusion of realia as if to ward off the chimera, but he places himself at the crossroads of the bucolic dream and its reverse side of anxiety. In this book, thought and built like a house, finally resounds a new voice, of which we consider some major aspects.
