Erica Fretwell is Associate Professor of English at the University at Albany, SUNY. Her research interests and teaching areas include nineteenth- and early twentieth-century US literature, affect theory, feminist science studies, and critical phenomenology. She is the author of Sensory Experiments: Race, Psychophysics, and the Aesthetics of Feeling (Duke, 2020).
