Résumé 0

Data were collected as part of the VITIRAMA program (2018-2020), funded by CASDAR (French Ministry of Agriculture). This project was carried by INRAE, IFV and l’Institut Agro Montpellier. The main objective was to obtain a better characterisation of the Grape-BRC (Biological Resources Center, Vassal-Montpellier repository) and other French grapevine collections held by INRAE (Colmar) and IFV (Le Grau-du-Roi and Peyrole). The program mainly focused on the susceptibility of fruiting grapevine varieties (V. vinifera and interspecific hybrids) to major diseases and pests: Black rot (Guignardia bidwellii), Bud mite disease (Colomerus vitis), a GPGV emerging virus vector, Downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola), Esca-BDA (community of fungi), Eutypa dieback (Eutypa lata), Grey mould (Botrytis cinerea), Phomopsis cane and leaf spot (Phomopsis viticola), Phylloxera (Daktulosphaira vitifoliae), Powdery mildew (Erysiphe necator), Major viruses. Furthermore, physiological disorders (magnesium deficiency and early defoliation), decay and heat susceptibility were also observed. These compiled, harmonised, analysed and diffused data are destined to: Document and recommend the producers’ use of varieties, Help the breeders to establish their breeding schemes, especially using new and complementary genetic resources to combine several disease and pest resistances, Establish relevant and diversified core samples to study the genetic determinants of resistance to diseases and pests. Data are presented in the following tables: Description of observed variables, Description of observed varieties, Description of observed plots in the repositories, One table per observed disease or pest. Each observation in a table for a specific disease or pest corresponds to a vine accession observed in 2018 and/or in 2019 in each of the four repositories. Most data were obtained according to CropOntology protocols or using OIV descriptors (452, 453, 455, 456, 458, 459 and 461), with a reverse scale. Indeed, the OIV descriptors define resistance, which means that for the notations 1-3-5-7-9, the 9 is the absence of symptoms, whereas in our case, we rated the symptom severity, so 1 corresponded to no symptom (least susceptible plants) and 9 to the maximum level of symptoms.
