Résumé 0

This dataset contains aboveground biomass production, morphological traits, developemental stages, and biomass composition acquired on 21 miscanthus clones from 2008-02-01 to 2013-11-30. Four datasets were made : « Miscanthus_production_morphological_traits_developmental_stages », « Miscanthus_total_abovegroundpart_composition », « Miscanthus_Leaves_composition », and « Miscanthus_Stems_composition ». « Miscanthus_production_morphological_traits_developmental_stages » one was aboveground biomass production, morphological traits, and developmental stages. « Miscanthus_total_abovegroundpart_composition », « Miscanthus_Leaves_composition », and « Miscanthus_Stems_composition » contained traits related to biomass composition in the whole aboveground part, leaves and stems, respectively. Plants observations and measurements were performed in Crops Innovation & Environment Facility (INRAE) in Estrées-Mons, Hauts-de-France, France (latitude 49.87, longitude 3.03). The 21 clones studied belonged to 3 Miscanthus species, Miscanthus x giganteus, Miscanthus sinensis, and Miscanthus sacchariflorus. Details about plant material were in the file named « Description_of_miscanthus_clones ». A file named « Description of miscanthus clones_Read_Me » gave explanations about the file « Description_of_miscanthus_clones ». Data was collected during 5 consecutive years. The harvests of the plants were made at two different seasons, autumn and winter seasons. Samples analyses to access biomass composition were performed by the Agronomic Laboratory of Normandie, France. The biomass composition was obtained for 3 parts of the plants, total aboveground part, stems, and leaves separately. Rainfall and temperature data were collected by a local meteorological station 1 km away from the trial. These data were registered on the INRAE CLIMATIK platform (https://intranet.inrae.fr/climatik/, in French) managed by the AgroClim laboratory of Avignon, France. The file named « Climatic_data » summarized climatic data for each year of experiment. The file named « Climatic_data_Read_Me » gave explanations about the file « Climatic_data ». The two files named « Description_of_variables » and « Description_of_factors_of_variation » described the variables and factors of variations used in the datasets, respectively. The files named « Description_of_variables_Read_Me » and « Description_of_factors_of_variation_Read_Me » gave explanations about the files « Description_of_variables » and « Description_of_factors_of_variation ».
