Résumé 0

Dataset Description: Non-Destructive Wood Analysis This dataset provides a comprehensive exploration of wood properties through three distinct measurement methods: X-ray imaging, terahertz waves, and visible light imaging. The dataset encompasses a diverse range of wood samples, including 38 different species of softwoods, hardwoods, and tropical species sourced from regions such as Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. Data Generation and Processing: X-ray imaging was conducted using an industrial optical scanner equipped with a transmission X-ray imaging system. Terahertz measurements utilized a Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave radar with a frequency range between 110 GHz and 130 GHz. Additionally, all samples were photographed on all six faces using a standard printer scanner. Data File Details: The dataset is packaged in a compressed folder, "THz_XR_RGB_Wood_Dataset.zip," containing four subfolders for each measurement type: THz, X-ray, RGB and Specifications. The THz and X-ray subfolders include separate files for diverse and tropical wood samples, while the Specifications subfolders contain CSV files with sample details (dimensions and mass). The RGB subfolder houses color images of all faces of each sample. This dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers exploring non-destructive imaging technologies, offering insights into the intricacies of wood structure and properties through varied measurement techniques.
