Résumé 0

This data set contains an hyperspectral image in tif format and its header in Envi file format. Airborne hyperspectral images were acquired by ONERA, using airborne VNIR-1600 and SWIR-320m HySpex instruments (Norsk Elektro Optikk AS, Lørenskog, Norway) in the frame of the NAOMI project between TotalEnergies and ONERA. These images were collected over the Fabas forest located in the “Vallées et Coteaux de Gascogne” (Haute-Garonne, France), belonging to the ZA PYGAR long-term socio-ecological research site (LTSER) (Ouin et al. 2022), on September 15, 2015 at 8:07 UT (Universal Time). The flying height was approximately 1287 m above this site under clear sky conditions. The image spatial resolutions were 1 m and 2 m and the spectral resolutions were 5.2 and 7.8 nm in the Visible-Near-InfraRed (VNIR, 400 – 1000 nm) and Short-Wave InfraRed (SWIR, 1000 – 2500 nm) spectral domains, respectively. The provided images represent georeferenced spectral radiances. The SWIR image was registered according to the VNIR image using the Gefolki algorithm (Brigot et al. 2016). The atmospheric correction was applied to the resulting spectral radiance image in order to provide spectral reflectance using the Cochise atmospheric code (Poutier et al. 2002). The SWIR and VNIR images were resampled to 4-m spatial resolution using a nearest neighborhood filter, in order to reduce the geometric distortions and preserve the spectral information. This provided a 4-m resampled reflectance image with 409 spectral bands covering the reflective domain (400 – 2500 nm). This image can be used in the frame of environmental studies to estimate specific ecological indicators.
