Simon Pouil, « Phenotypes and genotypes of two commercial rainbow trout French populations for resistance to Flavobacterium psychrophilum », Recherche Data Gouv, ID : 10.57745/WV8XJY
This dataset supports a study on the genetic architecture of resistance to bacterial cold-water disease (BCWD), caused by Flavobacterium psychrophilum, in two French commercial populations of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in France. The fish were experimentally infected via a standardized waterborne infection model, and survival was monitored for 29 days post-infection. Phenotypic data include binary survival status (alive/dead) either at 10 (Population A) or 29 dpi (Populations A and B). Genotypes were obtained using both medium-density (57K SNPs) and high-density (665K SNPs) Axiom™ arrays. A total of 1148 offspring from Population A and 1038 offspring from Population B were phenotyped and genotyped. The study aimed to identify quantitative trait loci (QTLs) associated with BCWD resistance.
