Project description Aphantasia is a recently coined term that describes the absence of voluntary mental imagery. In the visual modality, it refers to the inability to visualize “in the mind’s eye”. Aphantasia, with a prevalence of up to 6% in the general population, challenges current theories of cognition based on mental simulation and enactment.
