The College has established a Working Group chaired by Emeritus Professor Dame Jinty Nelson FBA and including external representation, to explore the future of Palaeography at King’s. It has not yet concluded its work but has already indicated that it will be recommending a re-defined Chair of Palaeography, incorporating Manuscript Studies, with a wide remit to provide leadership for palaeographers in all disciplines.
