Edited and translated by Wlodek Rabinowicz. Polish philosopher Tadeusz Kotarbinski (1896 - 1981), a leading member of the Lvov-Warsaw School, is well-known to the international public. Especially influential have been his reism (a radical form of nominalism) and his logical and semantical contributions.
