The course will be held following the First Conference of the School of Mamluk Studies. The course, intended for advanced graduate, PhD students and post-doc researchers will be given by Prof. Dr. Thomas Bauer (Muenster University) and will be focused on Mamluk poetry. A very good level of Arabic is required (minimum four years of Arabic at the university level).
