A bit beyond our scope on the 17th and 18th century, but nevertheless of interest: The international musicological conference on the Croatian composer and conductor Ivan Zajc (1832-1914). Zajc is considered the "key personality of Croatian music during the last third of the 19th century" and was active in Rijeka, Milan, Vienna and Zagreb.
