By Shamoon Zamir I am assuming that many readers are not familiar with the photography of Yasser Alwan or know only some of it. So I want to start with a selection of images. Yasser and I had long planned to publish a book of his photos. It is a very great regret that I was only able to complete this work and find a publisher for it after Yasser’s sudden death earlier this year.
