The EU-China Joint Workshop had a grand opening in Foshan, Guangdong on May 30th, 2013. Members of Urbachina were present at this workshop; Professor Li Shantong, Professor Ma Zhong, Professor Ni Pengfei, Professor Andrea Ricci, Professor Olivia Bina, Professor Athar Hussain, and Urbachina coordinator Professor François Gipouloux were invited to explain their points of view on the development of urbanisation in China and to provide some relevant advice.
