[EN] ʿAbdallāh b. Mūsā b. Nuṣayr, the eldest son of Mūsā b. Nuṣayr (d. 98/716–7), the governor of Ifrīqiya (79–95/698–714) and conqueror of al-Andalus, is first mentioned in the chronicles as commander of a contingent that came from Egypt to reinforce Mūsā’s troops in the year 83/702.
