This article presents the emotional turning point in the research of communication of organizations/organizational communication. Affects were a subject of study that was largely underrated in the 20th century before experiencing the enthusiasm they currently receive in social science research. We study how the Information and Communication Sciences, as a relatively recent inter-discipline, are situated in relation to this emotional turning point and how emotions and affects are given a place in our field, especially in the field of organizational communications. Finally, we open a reflective path regarding the challenges and controversies faced by the researcher in communication of organizations/organizational communication in the study of organizational affective communications.

Cet article présente le tournant affectif opéré au sein de la recherche en communication des organisations/organisationnelle. Les affects ont constitué un objet d’étude largement minoré au XXe siècle avant de connaître l’engouement qu’ils rencontrent actuellement dans la recherche en sciences sociales. Nous étudions la manière dont les SIC, en tant qu’interdiscipline relativement récente, se situent par rapport à ce tournant affectif et quelle place est accordée dans notre champ aux émotions et aux affects, en particulier dans le domaine des communications organisationnelles. Il s’agit, enfin, d’ouvrir une réflexion quant aux défis et controverses auxquels se voit confronté le chercheur en communication des organisations/organisationnelle dans l’étude des communications affectives organisationnelles.
