Le corps du clinicien à l’épreuve de la mort en service de soins palliatifs

La personne en situation palliative passe par des moments complexes qui menacent son sentiment continu d’exister. Les témoignages des expériences catastrophiques archaïques envahissent l’espace clinique de l’entretien avec le psychologue. Dans ce contexte, la prise en compte du corps du clinicien, en tant que vecteur de communication de ces vécus en souffrance de subjectivation, apparait comme un axe essentiel pour mieux comprendre la réalité psychique du sujet en fin de vie. La co-construction d’une zone intermédiaire de partage semble alors nécessaire au maintien de la subjectivation face aux enjeux létaux. Palliative care involves situations in which the subject is confronted with experiences that threaten their sense of continuity of existence. In the face of the return of archaic catastrophic experiences that invade the clinical scene, taking account of bodily countertransference and listening to sensorimotricity appear to be essential tools for accessing the psychic reality of the subject at the end of life. This clinical disposition would support the co-construction of an intermediate zone of sharing, necessary for maintaining subjectivation in the face of lethal challenges.
