La recherche sur les écritures est restée longtemps inféodée à la linguistique et cantonnée à une conception phonocentriste, téléologique et ethnocentriste. Depuis un certain nombre d’années, elle s’est trouvée renouvelée grâce à une approche conjointe entre sémiotique, anthropologie et une conception revisitée de l’approche linguistique. Nous analyserons un certain nombre d’exemples à l’aune de ce dialogue.

Research on writing: A dialogue between linguistics, semiotics and anthropologyResearch on writing remained for a long time dependent of linguistics and remained confined to a phonocentric, teleological and ethnocentric conception.
