Michel Sapin, « Bercy and the lobbies », Pouvoirs, ID : 10670/1.0cc04b...
As a major department in the service of the common good, Bercy is by its very nature immersed in the economic and financial milieu and is in contact with private vested interests. It must pay attention to the opinions of economic actors and listen to them, while at the same time protect itself from their influence and even from any suspicion of influence. Its administration must therefore act voluntarily and forcefully to fight against conflicts of interests and to impose a total transparency on the activity of the representatives of vested interests.
