"This article analyzes the colombian political situation and how successive governments, both liberals and conservatives, have searched for options to get the country out of the chaos in which it is tramped since middle 20th Century. The author recounts the challenges for the immediate future: peace negotiations to resolve the internal armed conflict, restoring economic growth with social equality, giving a global response to drug-trafficking and restoring trustfulness and social credibility; all of these in order to reach a real nation-project with the collective response of Colombians."
