L’œuvre d’Albert le Grand représente un système théologico-philosophique ambitieux, dont l’anthropologie avec sa doctrine de l’intellect forme le noyau. La recherche sur la théorie albertinienne de l’intellect, conduite dans une perspective diachronique, montre qu’elle reçoit un développement systématique par intégration et reformulation d’éléments doctrinaux augustiniens et dionysiens, (néo)platoniciens et aristotéliciens-péripatéticiens. Elle explicite la montée de l’homme vers l’accomplissement suprême de son intellect.

Albert the Great’s work offers an ambitious theological-philosophical system, the core of which is the anthropology with its theory of the intellect. This research of Albert’s theory of the intellect, which is carried out in a diachronic point of view, shows how it receives a systematic development through integration and new formulation of Augustinian and Dionysian, (neo-)Platonic and Aristotelian-Peripatetic doctrinal components. It explains the rise of man towards his intellect’s highest perfection.

ZusammenfassungDas Werk des Albertus Magnus stellt ein anspruchsvolles, theologisch-philosophisches System dar, dessen Herzstück die Anthropologie mit der Intellektlehre ist. Die in diachronischer Perspektive durchgeführte Untersuchung der Albertschen Intellekttheorie zeigt, daß sie einer systematischen Entwicklung unterliegt, welche aus der Integration und Reformulierung augustinisch-dionysischer, (neu-)platonischer und aristotelisch-peripatetischer Lehrstücke resultiert. Sie expliziert den Aufstieg des Menschen zu seiner höchsten intellektiven Vollendung.
