Résumé 0

This article is about an experiment carried out in the Rimouski-Neigette Municipality (Southeast region of Quebec Province) where politicians, teachers and Scientific researchers combined their efforts to promote children’s success in entering preschool Parents were recognized by theses three groups as essential partners and the family as being the first place where education takes place. This action research approach illustrates and is based on the COSMOSS Project (Communauté ouverte et solidaire pour un monde outillé, scolarisé et en santé – Open and supportive community for an equipped, educated and healthy world). This regional and local group was created in 2004 and aims at mobilizing the administrators providing services at the local level, working together to organize a solid support network around children and youth, to facilitate their development and social integration.
