Résumé
The impact of tension in the Red Sea extends far beyond the region’s boundaries. There is clearly an alteration of course of worldwide maritime traffic underway which is highlighting the strategic vulnerability of straits and canals. So dependent is the world economy on maritime trade that renewed consideration of major traffic flows has become essential, with greater importance given to the Atlantic.
