Résumé
"The article draws a pathway about how psychoanalysis understands research and its specificities. Then, relationshipsbetween psychoanalysis and sciences are analyzed from an epistemic point of view. From a positivist position,psychoanalysis has an ambiguous reputation due to the lack of empiric proof about its central hypotheses. On the otherhand, a hermeneutic defense of psychoanalytic method appears; nevertheless it has its own limitations as well, andthey are described. It is proposed the use of Clinic Case Study as a psychoanalytic and qualitative method in thespecific research and psycotherapy of Extreme Traumatization situations (human rights violations)"
