Résumé 0

This article discusses problems involved in the translation of argot and spoken language in historical context based on the analysis of a multilingual corpus including the French novel "Sous-Offs," written by Lucien Descaves in 1889, and its German version, "Aus französischen Kasernen", translated by Ludwig Wechsler in 1890. This roman was never re-translated, what's the case of the roman "Berlin Alexanderplatz" (Döblin 1929): a first translation was realised by Motchane in 1930, a second 80 years later by Oliver Le Lay. In both of the corpora the original text and the translations) are analysed and discussed; the analyses are completed by proposals for a new translation of the roman "Sous-Offs".
