The election of Donald Trump, the arrival in power of Joe Biden, the Russian-Ukrainian war, the explosion in the Middle East: from 2017 to 2024, one geopolitical shock followed another, seriously shaking up the European Union’s search for sustainable strategic choices. These revealed subsequently its façade of unity as a facade and its deep fractures, demonstrating its inability to free itself from its narrow Western prism, at the risk of losing its raison d’être in the eyes of the majority of humanity.
