Alors qu’autrefois les addictions ne concernaient que des comportements liés à une substance, aujourd’hui les travaux tendent vers l’étude d’un certain nombre de comportements dits addictifs. Malgré les avancées théoriques et empiriques, les outils dont dispose le chercheur ou le psychologue pour évaluer les addictions restent très spécifiques et s’appliquent seulement à l’évaluation de la dépendance à une substance. Nous avons alors construit un outil «général» standardisé à partir des critères de la définition de Goodman (1990) et du DSM-IV afin d’évaluer la dépendance soit à une substance soit à un comportement, le Test des Comportements Addictifs (T.C.A). Applicable quel que soit le comporte~ment de dépendance, le Test des Comportements Addictifs présente comme avantage l’utilisation combinée d’une échelle standardisée, d’un entretien semi-structuré et du graphe dimensionnel afin d’avoir une approche tridimensionnelle à la fois quantitative, qualitative et graphique. L’objectif de cet article consiste à présenter la construction et l’utilisation de cet outil.

We constructed a general «tool «standardized from the criterias of the definition of Goodman then (1995) and the DSM-IV in order to value the dependence is to a substance is to a behavior, the test of the behaviors addictifs (T.C.A). Applicable some either the behavior of dependence, the Test of the Behaviors Addictifs present like advantage, use combined of a standardized scale, of a semi – structured interview and the dimensional graph in order to have a three-dimensional approach at a time quantitative, qualitative and graphic. The objective of this article consists in presenting the construction and the use of this tool.
