L’analyse des phrases liminaires de l’article de P. Fraisse intitulé « Émotion » relève différentes stratégies rhétoriques qui donnent une illusion de rigueur et d’objectivité tout en construisant un artefact permis par la simplification réductrice du phénomène émotionnel. Suivant les procédés scientistes habituels, ce phénomène prétendument objectivé nourrit essentiellement la représentation d’un être humain « opératoire », à l’image d’un acteur social efficace, pouvant et devant résister au stress, au titre d’une normalité comportementale. Cet imaginaire théorique légitime une position idéologique qui porte un message social normatif d’adaptation, conforme à certaines attentes institutionnelles et organisationnelles.

According to the usual scientistic processes, this allegedly objectified phenomenon feeds essentially the representation of an « operating » human, just like an effective social player who must and be able to resist the stress, in conformance with a behavioral normality. This imaginatory theory legitimizes an ideological position which carries a normative social message of adaptation, in compliance with certain institutional and organizational expectations.
