Jorge A. González, « Y todo queda entre familia. Estrategias, objeto y método para historias de familias », Estudios sobre las Culturas Contemporáneas, ID : 10670/1.35agya
"Drawing upon the contributions of Daniel Bertaux this text discussesand makes more precise the procedures, questions, methods and techniquesfor doing family histories. Starting from the classic methods oforal history and by means of the selective reconstruction of family memory,a series of personal accounts of a great number of relatives andrelations in a familial network of at least three generations, a graphicrepresentation of this set of relations (genograma), and a family chronologyare obtained. With these three complex elements, an account is elaboratedwhich highlights the trajectories, lineages, and the processes ofgeneration, accumulation and transmission of the capitals of the familyin question. With this effort the author attempts to give a sense of thelong term processes involved in the formation of publics and culturalfields."
