Résumé 0

How should one engage in the empowerment process from a decolonial feminist perspective? How should one implement an epistemological and methodological approach in a collaboration between an academic and a social movement? This article presents the experience of co-construction, co-direction, co-production, and co-distribution of a participatory film—Mulheres rurais em movimento (Rural Women in Movement)—by a French researcher and Brazilian rural women activists. By interlocking the reflection on androcentrism and coloniality, we aimed at tackling the processes of social invisibilization of rural women and the negation of their knowledge.
