Résumé
If one looks at financial and migratory flows between Cuba and the United States, it is obvious that the normalization of the relationship between the two countries well predates Barack Obama’s 18 December 2014 speech. The measures announced by the American president could have the unwanted effect of reinforcing « free-market Castroism », a State capitalism devoid of political rights for citizens.
