Pascal François, « OLSC France : comment supporter à distance le Liverpool Football Club dans un monde global », Football(s) : Histoire, culture, économie, société, ID : 10.58335/football-s.274
Remote supportism is an avatar of globalisation. Communication techniques allow, but do not explain, the process by which an individual, by voluntary and definitive choice, inscribes in his social practices a devotion to a football club that is not located near his residence. The personal trajectories of the members and those of the Liverpool FC are hybridised. In order not to focus on anachronistic representations of hooliganism, entering the world of OLSC, the French branch of Liverpool FC supporters, is a critical invitation to travel in the company of those “who never walk alone”.
